Clinical Congress 2024

Ancillary Events

NEW! The ACS Clinical Congress has shifted by one day. All ancillary receptions originally scheduled on Monday, will now be held on Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Groups planning a social function or business meeting to be held in conjunction with the Clinical Congress are required to obtain approval. If events are to be held at one of the participating venues/hotels, affiliate groups are required to secure event space through ACS.

Guidelines for Ancillary Events

These guidelines pertain to social and other events that are scheduled outside of the official ACS Clinical Congress, including but not limited to:

  • Alumni Receptions
  • Social Events/Dinners
  • Staff Meetings
  • Internal Industry pre-conference and post-conference meetings
  • Advisory Board Meetings
  • Investigator Meetings
  • Committee and Board Meetings
  • Sales Training
  • Task Force

The Annual Clinical Congress commences on Saturday, October 19 at 8:00 am and adjourns on Tuesday, October 22 at 5:00 pm. Organizations, institutions, or exhibitors cannot conduct activities that would compete with the educational programming of the Clinical Congress.

All meeting requests and off-site events must be approved and reserved through the ACS Convention & Meetings Division. Please complete and submit one form per function.

The ACS will assign your meeting room on a first-come, first-served basis and send an introductory email to the hotel contact. Approvals and space notifications will be sent in late July. View a map of ACS Clinical Congress host hotels with meeting space

After space is assigned, the organizer is responsible for finalizing all arrangements and setting up billing with the venue for your event needs. It is understood that ACS accepts no responsibility, nor does it endorse or consider your function to be part of the official program.
