Registration Services

Registration is located in the North Lobby of the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. The hours of operation are: 

• Saturday, October 21, 7:00 am–4:00 pm
• Sunday, October 22, 7:00 am–6:00 pm
• Monday, October 23, 6:30 am–5:00 pm
• Tuesday, October 24, 7:00 am–4:00 pm
• Wednesday, October 25, 7:00 am–4:00 pm

For attendees who registered in advance, there will be self-serve kiosks available to streamline badge pick-up.

Clinical Congress Is Family Friendly

If you are bringing family members with you to Clinical Congress, the ACS has family-friendly programs to help enhance your experience. These programs include:

Childcare Services

Camp ACS will be available for children ages 6 months to 17 years. ACCENT on Children’s Arrangements will oversee the program at the Westin in the Galleria (adjacent to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center). Daily activities include arts and crafts, entertainment, and interactive games. Camp ACS will be available Sunday, October 22–Wednesday, October 25, 7:30 am–10:00 pm. Register for childcare services.

Little Medical School—SOLD OUT

As an add-on to Camp ACS, Little Medical School will offer educational enrichment prepared by board-certified physicians and educators. Children ages 2 years and older will have the opportunity to explore the world of medicine, science, and health in an engaging and fun way. Little Medical School will be held at the Westin in the Galleria (adjacent to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center on Monday, October 23, 9:00 am–12:00 pm. Little Medical School is sold out.

Nursing Mothers

A room for nursing mothers will be available during Clinical Congress (Room 51, Exhibit Level).

Session Access for Infants

Children younger than 18 months will be allowed in session rooms when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Guardians are asked to maintain a professional and disturbance-free environment at all times, including immediately stepping out of the room if the infant becomes fussy. Children between the ages of 18 months and 16 years are not permitted in scientific sessions.

Exhibit Hall

At no time are children of any age permitted in the Exhibit Hall.

Taste of the City

All family members are invited to participate in Taste of the City, a complimentary capstone event of Clinical Congress, where attendees can sample the cuisine and culture of the host location while networking with colleagues. This event will be on Wednesday, October 25, 5:30–7:30 pm. Casual dress is encouraged.

Visa Information

International Fellows, guest physicians, and meeting attendees: The process of obtaining a visa to attend meetings in the US currently takes much longer than in prior years. You are strongly urged to apply for a visa as early as possible, preferably at least 60 days before the start of the meeting. View detailed information regarding obtaining a visa and the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).

You may request a letter from the College welcoming you to the meeting when you register online for the meeting or by emailing registration@facs.org.

Prayer Room

A prayer room will be available at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center during the meeting and open during registration hours. The room location will be confirmed in onsite navigational materials.
