Rural Surgery Program

To assist you in identifying general surgery training programs in the United States with a special focus or track in rural surgery, the American College of Surgeons Rural Surgery Advisory Council has compiled a list of programs that meet these criteria. A detailed description of each program, along with contact information for the program director or coordinator, is available by selecting the link for the program of interest below.

Please note that some rural surgery programs may be offered as separately matched positions through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Applicants should review each institution’s specific application and match requirements for additional guidance.
