CME Accreditation

ACCME-Accredited with Commendation

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) is accredited, with commendation, by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide Continuing Medical Education (CME) for physicians. The ACS Division of Education is responsible for maintaining that accreditation status and oversees educational programs across the College to ensure that they are planned and executed in compliance with the ACCME Accreditation Criteria and the AMA Credit System Regulations.

Since 2001, the ACS has provided CME credit for educational activities for more than 100 organizations. Approximately 120,000 surgeons have received CME credit through the program.

If you have any questions about CME accreditation, please contact the CPDA Team at cpda@facs.org.

This program is not open to medical education commercial companies.
