ACS Coding Hotline

Experts agree that correct coding may be the single most important area for surgical practice improvement. However, keeping up with frequent changes in coding and billing rules can be costly and time-consuming. Therefore, as part of our ongoing efforts to support Fellows and their practices submit clean claims and receive proper reimbursement, the American College of Surgeons (ACS) has established a coding consultation service—the ACS Coding Hotline—that Fellows and their practice staff can contact with questions related to CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding, as well as other billing-related issues.
