History and Archives Executive Committee

The mission of the History and Archives Committee (formerly the Surgical History Group) is to advance, promote, sustain and expand the recognition, appreciation, presentation, preservation and study of American surgical history; to stimulate and to facilitate research and other scholarly activities on this subject; to enhance our resources for this endeavor; and to incorporate the study and appreciation of surgical history into the surgical curriculum and its application to future goals.
