Committee on Perioperative Care
The Committee on Perioperative Care (CPC) was established in 2002 as a standing committee of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). It was formed when the Committee on Operating Room Environment (CORE) and the Pre- and Post-Operative Care Committee (PPOC) were integrated to provide a continuum across all processes related to surgical care.

Surgical Research Committee
The Surgical Research Committee (SRC) is a standing committee of the American College of Surgeons. It is concerned with and represents the organization in matters addressing the progress of academic surgery and the funding, content, and direction of surgical research, as it pertains to improving the care of patients.
