Apply today for media credentials to cover the ACS Clinical Congress 2023—one of the largest international meetings of surgeons in the world. This year’s Clinical Congress will convene October 22-25 in Boston, Mass., and will be a hybrid event (held onsite and virtually).
All credentialed journalists approved to cover the conference—in-person or virtually—will receive access to the official Clinical Congress media kit and access to the Scientific Forum abstracts shortly before the conference begins.
Clinical Congress is an opportunity to report on groundbreaking surgical research, connect with surgeon experts, and learn more about the latest trends in surgery. Hundreds of research-in-progress reports, including updates on late-breaking clinical trials, will be presented during the Scientific Forum sessions.

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport and the Westin Boston Seaport District will serve as the headquarters hotels for the meeting and the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center will house the majority of the conference presentations, such as the named lectures, scientific and plenary sessions, and the exhibit hall, where companies display the latest in surgical technology and other products and services. Members of the media attending Clinical Congress onsite will be granted access to livestreamed content and on-demand panel presentations, named lectures, icons in surgery video sessions, late-breaking scientific forum sessions, and special sessions within an hour after being presented. Requests to interview presenters and expert surgeons may be sent to pressinquiry@facs.org.
Virtual attendees will have access to both the livestreamed and on-demand content and may also email pressinquiry@facs.org to schedule interviews with surgeons. All attendees will maintain access until May 1, 2024, which is also the deadline for physician participants to claim AMA Category 1 Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.
