ACS NSQIP® Pediatric data power a preoperative risk calculator tool that allows clinicians to input an individual patient’s risk factors—such as age, sex, and ASA class—into a statistical model that calculates the likelihood of various outcomes.

Research News

Ten hospitals reduced opioid prescriptions for children with appendicitis through a quality improvement initiative. Use of ACS NSQIP® Pediatric led to 80% fewer prescriptions with no harm in patient outcomes.
