That all health educators involved in surgical education achieve greater excellence in education and educational research throughout their professional careers.


Mission


To inform, motivate and enable all educators of the surgical profession to promote their capabilities as interprofessional innovative teachers, facilitators, lifelong learners, and scholars.

Based on the periodic needs assessment of the American College of Surgeons Accredited Education Institutes, the committee will provide training, consultation, and learning resources for promotion and enhancement of innovative, blended, simulation, and individual and team-based surgical education.
