American College Of Surgeons - Inspiring Quality: Highest Standards, Better Outcomes

SSR Users Updates: September 29

Dear SSR Participants,

The next SSR release is currently scheduled for September 30 and is expected to include the following items:

  • Addition of CMS Phases of Care QCDR measures to SSR forms and reports
  • Duplicate checking for the procedure location upon using the Uploader tool
  • Abbreviated printing of individual case forms
  • Updates to the sizing of the task bar when the window size is adjusted

In order to accommodate these updates on September 30, the SSR platform will be down from Saturday, September 30, 12:00 midnight (EDT) until Sunday, October 1, 12:00 midnight (EDT). Please save all work and log out of the system by 11:45 PM (EDT) on Friday, September 29 to avoid losing data. For further explanation of these features and where to find them in the registry, you can access the ‘Quick Guide R1.5’ PDF in the Notifications section once you log in to SSR after the release is complete.

If you were not able to attend one of the recent educational webinars of how to use the SSR to participate in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), you may view recorded webinars and additional resources on the MIPS Resources and Education section of the SSR website.

Finally, data migration is continuing, and you will be notified when your data becomes available in the new platform. In the meantime, you may still view your historical SSR data in the previous platform until the full data migration process is complete.

If you have questions, please reach out to us at ssr@facs.org or 312-202-5408.

Thank you,

Your SSR Team
