American College Of Surgeons - Inspiring Quality: Highest Standards, Better Outcomes

SSR Users Updates: July 28, 2017

Dear SSR Participants,

We hope the most recent updates to the SSR launched earlier this month are improving your experience with the new system. Please review the “SSR User Quick Guide” under the “Notifications” section of the registry to view all of the items included in the most recent release. Feel free to contact us with your feedback on these items.

Members of the test user group are currently reviewing data migration to ensure all migrated data are properly populating in the system before we migrate all surgeons’ data to the new system. Data migration will be an iterative process, and you will be notified when your data becomes available in the new platform. In the meantime, you may still view your historical SSR data in the previous platform.

We are also still actively evaluating requirements for the creation of a new SSR mobile application to allow you easy access to the registry from your mobile devices. Please look for a survey in the next few weeks that will ask for your feedback regarding what would be most helpful for your usage of SSR in a mobile app.

In addition, we are working on another release with functionality improvements for mid-August. We will provide additional details on this future release when they become available.

Finally, thank you to all the SSR users who attended the ACS Quality and Safety Conference in New York City this past weekend. We enjoyed hearing your feedback and learning how the SSR fits into your workflow.

If you have questions, please reach out to us at ssr@facs.org or 312-202-5408.

Thank you,

Your SSR Team
