A variety of educational offerings for Surgeon Specific Registry™ (SSR) users are available to assist you. These offerings cover new features in the SSR and how to use the SSR to participate in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) 2020:

Making the Most of the SSR

Join one of several SSR educational webinars—including a Q&A session—during the months of July and August. The webinars will demonstrate new features of the SSR as well as show you how to review and learn from your case data using a variety of reports. The webinar series is for established and new users, so register for a webinar today.

MIPS 2020 Participation

Additionally, the ACS SSR Qualified Registry is supporting CMS MIPS for the 2020 performance year (PY). The SSR is supporting the Quality and Improvement Activities (IA) components for MIPS 2020 data submission to CMS. Verify your MIPS 2020 eligibility first using your individual National Provider Identifier (NPI) number.

To assist surgeons with reporting MIPS 2020, the SSR is offering a MIPS webinar series—including a Q&A session—that will feature important MIPS 2020 participation topics and frequently asked questions. Register for a 45-minute MIPS 2020 webinar today.

We highly recommend that you watch the MIPS 2020 instructional video demonstrations ahead of time. You may also submit any questions you have before the webinar to SSR@facs.org with the subject line MIPS 2020.

For more information about MIPS 2020 participation in the SSR, including available CQMs options, measures specifications, and Improvement Activities options, visit the ACS SSR MIPS section. Access the MIPS 2020 Quick Guide for a brief overview.
