SSR Update: Updates to the SSR System Go Live Tonight

To Our SSR Community,

We will be releasing the first of several updates to the Surgeon Specific Registry (SSR) TONIGHT, MAY 3, between 10:00 pm–2:00 am ET. It is important that you save all of your work and log out of the system by 9:45 pm ET to avoid losing your data.

This release will include the following new features:

  • Future operation dates will be able to be entered for cases
  • Support desk number will be visible on the page footer
  • Surgeon role field will default to the primary surgeon role

In addition, the following issues have been addressed in this release:

  • CPT codes are no longer a required field
  • Mobile user interface issues have been addressed
  • Case grid loading error messages have been resolved
  • Report errors have been resolved

Toward the end of May, you can expect another release that will contain many additional data points that have been identified for inclusion. Also known as the “long form,” this version of the SSR will mirror ACS NSQIP®.  The general surgery measures specialty set compliant with MACRA will also be released at that time. Additional releases scheduled in June will include functional improvements that we anticipate will fully meet your expectations.

We are pleased that so many of you have agreed to work with us as part of the SSR user group as we move forward, and we will be in touch with you soon to schedule our first call or webinar.

As a reminder, we are also in the process of migrating your cases from the previous SSR system to the new system. We anticipate that process will be completed in June.

Thank you.

Your SSR Team
