American College Of Surgeons - Inspiring Quality: Highest Standards, Better Outcomes

SSR Users Updates: April

Dear SSR Participants,

The next Surgeon Specific Registry (SSR) release is scheduled for April 27–28 and will include the following features:

  • Users will have the ability to select defaults for Units of Measure and Units for Lab Values within the Form Management menu option.
  • Users will have the ability to prepopulate all Preop Risk Factors and all Postop Occurrences to "No."
  • ICD and CPT favorites/hotlist will be expanded to display 25 entries.
  • Users will have the ability to add multiple ICD-10 codes (in a list separated by commas) using the copy and paste feature.
  • Users will have the option to select the same admission date field as the procedure date field.
  • The system will check form changes across the registry and any related fields are reflected in real-time to the use for MIPS updates, thus alleviating the need to have users re-save the forms for the changes to be applied.
  • On the Cases page, the system will default the number of cases to display to the most recent number selected by the users and return to the most recently viewed case list location after saving a case.
  • Notes fields will be expanded to allow users to enter up to 2500 characters per field.

In order to accommodate these updates, the SSR platform will be down for all users from Friday, April 27 at 10:00 pm (EDT) to Saturday, April 28 at 11:45 pm (EDT). Please save all work and log out of the system by 9:45 pm (EDT) on Friday, April 27 to avoid losing data.

Also, the SSR team will have a representative present at the upcoming ACS Leadership & Advocacy Summit, May 19–22, at the Renaissance Washington, DC Downtown Hotel. For more information on SSR, please contact us at ssr@facs.org or visit our website.

Thank you,

Your SSR Team
