Dr. Linda Moy is a professor of radiology at the NYU School of Medicine. She holds joint appointments at the NYU Center for Advanced Imaging Innovation and Research and the NYU Laura and Isaac Perlmutter Cancer Center. She oversees the clinical 3T breast MRI Diagnostic and Interventional Program.

Dr. Moy is a fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging (SBI) and the vice-chair for the American College of Radiology (ACR) Appropriateness Criteria Committee. This committee develops evidence-based guidelines to assist referring physicians in making the most appropriate imaging or treatment decision for a specific clinical condition.

She leads a translational team of researchers that focuses on the early detection of breast cancer. Current translational projects include developing an artificial intelligence neural network for mammography; a collaboration with the NYU's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Dr. Moy’s main research focus is on breast MRI to detect occult breast cancer. She has more than 15 years of clinical and research experience in using functional MR applications. Dr. Moy is a co-investigator on several NIH and DOD grants and a permanent reviewer on several NIH Study Sections that focus on medical imaging.
