Dr. Denise Mammolito, a breast surgical oncologist, received her medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where she also completed a residency in general surgery and a surgical oncology fellowship. She has been in practice for more than 25 years, and has been 100% dedicated to breast surgery for 18 years. She is assistant professor of clinical surgery, department of surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP).

Dr. Mammolito has been co-chair of the UICOMP department of surgery annual Breast Cancer Symposium since 2008. She has served on the board of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Memorial Affiliate, Peoria, IL. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology and the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

She has been the recipient of numerous teaching, service, and leadership awards locally. She is often asked to speak at local survivor and breast cancer educational events.
