American College Of Surgeons - Inspiring Quality: Highest Standards, Better Outcomes

Cancer Surgery Standards Program (CSSP) Launch Webcast

As a part of the launch of the Cancer Surgery Standards Program (CSSP), a new program of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) dedicated to improving the quality of care for cancer surgery patients, we invite you to attend the CSSP Program Launch Webcast on Wednesday, July 22 from 3 to 4 p.m. CT. This webcast will provide an overview of the CSSP, a panel discussion with ACS Cancer Programs constituents on the value of the CSSP, and a brief overview of the synoptic operative report template for colon cancer that has been developed through the CSSP as a tool for Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited programs.

Registration is required. Please note that participation is limited to the first 3,000 registrants. We expect a large response and suggest viewing this as a group in a safe, socially distanced setting. Due to the size of the audience, no phone dial-in is available; you must use computer audio to listen to the webcast. The webcast will be recorded and posted to the ACS Cancer Programs website for viewing. Continuing education credit will not be available for this webcast. This email is being sent to all contacts at CoC accredited facilities. Please share with surgeons or staff who may be interested.
