CROWN Study: COVID-19-Related Oncologist's Concerns about Treatment Delays

We have developed a questionnaire for physicians working at National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC)-accredited centers to assess how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted delays in breast cancer treatment and physician well-being. We are interested in how you are coping with the COVID-19 pandemic and how it is impacting treatment for patients.

This study is being conducted by NAPBC leadership. Dr. Katharine Yao, Vice-Chair NAPBC, is the lead investigator on the study.

In order to participate in this study, you must be a physician working at a NAPBC accredited center. We are inviting physicians from all specialties in breast cancer (surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, breast imagers, geneticists, pathologists, survivorship) to participate. We understand that some of these questions may not apply to your specialty but please try to answer as many questions as possible.

This questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. You may skip questions you are uncomfortable answering or don't want to answer. Your responses are completely anonymous. Responses to this questionnaire will be used to develop tools and resources to help physicians cope with the stress and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on their personal well-being. If these questions are upsetting to you, please contact Dr. Katharine Yao (contact info below).

The CROWN Study: Physician Survey

We are aware that this pandemic has affected you on many levels. We have made some tools available to you at the end of the survey to help with your well-being. We hope you are healthy and appreciate all the hard work you are doing during this unprecedented crisis.

If you have any questions about the study please contact Dr. Katharine Yao, or 847-570-1700.
