Webinars - COVID-19 Guidelines for Triage and Management of Cancer Patients Available This Week

To support the recently released American College of Surgeons' (ACS) COVID-19 Guidelines for Triage of Elective Cancer Surgery Patients, ACS Cancer Programs is hosting a series of webinars with the clinical experts and authors to review the documents and answer questions. Today's webinar focused on Multidisciplinary Management of Colorectal Cancer During COVID-19. Tomorrow the webinar will focus on breast cancer surgery and on Monday, March 30, the webinar will focus on management of thoracic surgery patients. These webinars will be recorded and posted to the ACS Cancer Programs web page within 24 hours following the events.

This multidisciplinary team webinar will discuss the ACS/CoC/NAPBC guidelines for the evaluation and management of patients with breast cancer during the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the team will review the recently released guidance document Recommendations for Prioritization, Treatment and Triage of Breast Cancer Patients During the COVID-19 Pandemic: Executive Summary, produced collaboratively by the NAPBC, CoC, ASBrS and NCCN. We will assess individual scenarios and describe potential options for care of these patients during this crisis.
