American College Of Surgeons - Inspiring Quality: Highest Standards, Better Outcomes

New CoC Operative Standards Survey

We realize that 2021 is right around the corner, and we’ve heard your concerns about implementation of the new CoC Operative Standards.

We are asking you to complete a short, 10-question survey that will help us understand how prepared CoC sites are for:

  • Standards 5.7 and 5.8, which require synoptic pathology reporting starting in 2021 and
  • Standards 5.3-5.6, which require routine synoptic operative reporting by the end of 2022 and 70% compliance in 2023.

Your feedback is important, as it will help us identify and address any concerns you have about achieving compliance. It will also inform us as to additional resources we can develop to help facilitate adoption and compliance with these standards.

Survey on Readiness for Implementing Commission on Cancer (CoC) Standards 5.3 – 5.8

  • The person at your center responsible for implementing the standards should complete the survey.
  • The survey will take just 3 minutes to complete.
  • We kindly ask you to complete and submit the survey no later than October 16, 2020.

On Behalf of American College of Surgeons (ACS) Cancer Programs - THANK YOU!
