Promote Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month with Free Marketing Resources from ACS Cancer Programs

Dear Colleagues,

For more than two decades, March has been designated as Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosed in the U.S. and according to the CDC it is the third leading cause of cancer deaths in American men and women combined.

To help accredited programs increase awareness of colorectal cancer within their programs and communities, the Commission on Cancer (CoC) and the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC) have created posters, e-mail signatures, and social media resources to promote Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

To access, accredited CoC programs may log into CoC Datalinks and click on the “Resources to Market CoC-accreditation” link under Resources. Accredited NAPRC programs may access by clicking on the “Marketing Resources” link in the resources section of the Quality Portal.

We hope you use these resources this month to educate your patients and community about Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and to promote your accreditation.
