Carol Ann Woody, BA, CAP, serves as the Administrator of Cancer Accreditation Support for the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Cancer Programs. Carol received her BA in applied studies from Loyola University of Chicago and attended Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL. She is a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) with the International Association of Administrative Professionals.

Carol joined the Accreditation Department (formerly called the Approvals Program) of the ACS in 1987. Prior to that, she worked for the Social Security Administration and Roosevelt University.

“My role on the Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation team is to provide administrative support and customer service to our accredited programs that, in turn, provide quality and optimal patient health care,” said Carol.

In her spare time, Carol enjoys karaoke, reading political biographies, and working on word games and puzzles.
