CoC 2020 Standards and NCDB Tools and New Platform

Health care providers committed to providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary, high-quality, patient-centered care are encouraged to join us for an in-depth review of the Optimal Standards for Cancer Care (2020 Standards).

With the publication of Optimal Standards for Cancer Care, the Commission on Cancer (CoC) introduced accreditation standards that have undergone a significant change that focuses on the provision of high quality and measurable care, and the National Cancer Database (NCDB) will migrate to a new data platform. Join us December 2–3 for a two full days of education focusing on the 2020 Standards, as well as the new NCDB platform, Rapid Cancer Reporting System (RCRS), reports and tools, data submission process.

Why Attend?

Attendees will leave the December 2–3 sessions with an understanding of the 2020 Optimal Standards for Cancer Care along with strategies to ensure successful implementation and maximize performance. Attendees will learn how programs are performing concurrent abstracting and using the NCDB Tools to meet data submission and performance standards. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to view the new reporting platform and learn about the value of the RCRS.

At the conclusion of the conference, you will be able to:

  • Understand the rationale that lead to the changes to the CoC Standards.
  • Describe the key changes affecting patient care.
  • Formulate strategies to address new requirements.
  • Learn about new resources, templates, and online education to support the new standards.
