2021 ACS Cancer Programs Conference VIRTUAL: Quality Cancer Care in Motion

About the Conference

The 2021 conference provides attendees with the opportunity to learn about the current activities of the ACS Cancer Programs that are designed to enhance cancer program operations and support cancer patient care. Conference programming includes:

  • Requirements and compliance strategies for the Commission on Cancer (CoC) Optimal Resources for Cancer Care (2020 Standards)
  • An overview of the new Rapid Cancer Reporting System (RCRS)
  • Strategies to support concurrent abstracting
  • The plan for deployment of new quality measures to support the delivery of high-quality care
  • Review of the new Cancer Surgery Standards Program (CSSP)
  • The development, release, and implementation of surgical standards and synoptic operative reports to improve the quality of surgical care
  • A review of changes to cancer staging and coding requirements including the American Joint Committee on Cancer (AJCC) Version 9 Staging System implementation plan and cervix uteri release
  • Future changes anticipated to the STandards for Oncology Registry Entry (STORE) Manual
