Under Standard 4.3 “A Cancer Liaison Physician serves in a leadership role within the cancer program and is responsible for evaluating, interpreting, and reporting the program’s performance using the National Cancer Database (NCDB) data. The CLP reports the results of this analysis to the cancer committee at least 4 times a year.”

Access and review your NCDB reports - Cancer Program Practice Profile Reports (CP3R), Hospital Comparison Benchmark Reports, and Survival reports to assess your cancer program’s performance as compared to data from other hospitals in your category, state, ACS region, or nationally. Use this data to create a report based on your facility's needs, improvements, or successes for your cancer committee meeting on a quarterly basis.
