While it will cover some of the same points as the previous webinar, the content of the April 18 webinar will be different and will go over many of the registrar questions received to date.

The recording and presentation for the special study webinar on April 11, 2017, can be accessed on the Special Study webpage. The NCRA number for this webinar is 2017-027 and is worth 1.0 CE.

If your facility has a reference date of 1/1/09 or later, you are exempt from participation. Please e-mail to confirm if you have not done so already.

If you are at a VA or pediatric facility, please disregard this e-mail. VA/pediatric facilities are not eligible to participate in the special study.

Link to Web Form

As many of you know, the link to the web form was posted on Datalinks today, April 17, 2017. You should now be able to access your patients' data to start requesting outside records. Check to confirm.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to print a patient list directly from the web form. One solution is to take screenshots of the pertinent information.

In addition to sending e-mails with webinar links, we will be posting documents and webinars to the Standards Resource Library on the CAnswer Forum.

These will also be posted on Special Study webpage.
Note: Please EITHER send an e-mail through the Contact form of the website OR e-mail the e-mail address. Please do not send both as all e-mails go to the same account.

We apologize if some of you have not received the Special Study e-mails. If you or anyone you know has had difficulty receiving Special Study or CoC e-mails, send the following information to your IT department and ask them to whitelist our e-mail addresses. This information is for an external mail service that the CoC uses to send large communications.
