Congratulations on achieving accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a Quality Program of the American College of Surgeons. The following materials are provided to assist you in promoting your NAPBC-accredited center to your patients and community.

It signifies that the accredited facility as voluntarily met the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers' standards and has been accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a Quality Program of the American College of Surgeons.

NAPBC Logo

We encourage you to include the NAPBC-accredited center logo in your marketing collateral and on your website in accordance with ACS guidelines. Make the community aware of your breast center's accomplishment and commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary cancer care.

Guidelines for Logo Usage

  • NAPBC branding colors are dark pink (CMYK 0,90,40,33; RGB 172,41,76; or web hexadecimal #ac294c) and light pink (CMYK 0,25,4,0; RGB ; or web hexadecimal #facbd6).
  • The logo can be used in color, black and white, or reversed in white on a colored background.
  • Link the NAPBC logo to the NAPBC web page when using on the web or in other electronic communications.

NAPBC Sample Press Release

A sample press release has been prepared to assist you in informing your local community about your NAPBC accreditation. Please adapt this press release to include program-specific information.* Examples of press release use include:

  • Notifying local media of your accomplishment

Patient Brochures

The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) Patient Education brochure has been developed to help you educate your patients on what accreditation means and why receiving care at an accredited program is important. This brochure is one way to reinforce to patients your program's commitment to providing the best in cancer and breast care.

  • Some examples of ways to distribute this brochure include but are not limited to:
  • Your website as a downloadable PDF
  • Patient pre-operation information kits
  • Patient education resources
  • Discharge information kits
  • Waiting rooms
  • Individual physician offices or departments
  • Health fairs and other outreach programs

Choose from two formats for each brochure:

A standard brochure that you can download and print

A customizable brochure that has been designed to allow your program to add your program's logo, name, and contact information to create a personalized patient brochure. The press-ready PDF has the required printer's marks and can be imported to Adobe InDesign or Illustrator. In the provided white space, input your program information and graphics, and save as a new file.

NAPBC-Accredited Program Signage and Artwork

To help you promote your NAPBC-accreditation, the NAPBC has developed the following print-ready and customizable artwork. We encourage you to use these tools when developing NAPBC-Accredited Center signs, posters, and banners at your screening and prevention activities, community outreach events, and at local community events to promote your commitment to quality cancer care for your community.

NAPBC-Accredited Cancer Center Banner Stand

The perfect item to feature at community outreach programs simply download the NAPBC-Accredited program banner stand file and send it to the banner vendor of your choosing. The banner size is 31.5" x 90". Make sure to take a photo of your display and post it on your social media sites.

NAPBC-Accredited Cancer Center Poster

Proudly display the 18" x 24" size poster throughout your facility to promote your accomplishment to your patients, visitors, staff, and your community. Download the poster file and send it to your internal print shop or to a local store that provides printing services. This artwork can be resized for use in your program's print materials.

Customizable Banner

Include your program's logo on the newly designed vertical (48" x 72") or horizontal (72" x 48") banner that can be printed on vinyl to hang outside the doors of your program. Download the poster file and send it to your internal print shop or to a local store that can print vinyl banners. This artwork can be resized for use in your program's print materials.

Social Media Graphics

Your program is encouraged to use the following social media graphics and e-mail signatures to publicize your accreditation.

Social Media Graphics for Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn

You are encouraged to include a link to your program's website along with the graphic in your Facebook or Twitter posts so people can learn more about the work you are doing to provide the very best care for cancer patients.

Email Signature

Make sure you and your staff include the CoC-Accredited Program signature in all your communications.

Email graphic instructions:

  • Save the graphic on your desktop.
  • Open a new e-mail.
  • From the Insert menu, click "Pictures" , "This Device."
  • Select the graphic and click "Insert."
  • Once the graphic is embedded in the body of your e-mail, right click on it.
  • Choose "Link" from the popup menu, and then type your program's URL into the address field. 

NAPBC-Accredited Breast Centers

The NAPBC Breast Center Locator is a benefit to NAPBC-accredited breast centers and provides information on resources and services for all NAPBC-accredited breast centers. Information from the NAPBC Breast Center Locator can be useful in marketing efforts as well as providing patients with information about the resources and services provided by each breast center. This link can be posted on your website for public access.

NAPBC Accreditation Certificates

All NAPBC-accredited centers receive a complimentary Certificate of Accreditation. In order to receive your complimentary certificate, visit the NAPBC Online Store. Please make sure you have your Center ID ready when placing your order. The NAPBC Online store also offers a variety of items to help you promote your accomplishment, including additional certifications, frames, pins, and banners.

Celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day

June 5, 2022, marks the 35th annual National Cancer Survivors Day® observance, which provides an opportunity for all people living with a history of cancer to connect with one another, celebrate milestones, and recognize those who have supported them along the way.

To help you promote this event, the American College of Surgeons Cancer Programs has created a variety of print and electronic promotional materials. As an accredited site, we encourage you to engage your community with activities that:

  • Recognize cancer survivors 
  • Support patients with cancer 
  • Screen and educate community members on cancer prevention and early detection
