The annual American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program® (ACS NSQIP®) Conference will be held in July 2015 at the Hilton Chicago, Chicago, IL. The ACS NSQIP National Conference strives to
- Provide a professional forum to discuss and apply the most recent knowledge pertaining to national and local quality initiatives in the field of surgery.
- Present methods used to analyze ACS NSQIP data and demonstrate practical ways to use the data for quality improvement.
- Assist hospitals in managing, analyzing, and interpreting data by providing education on proven methods that will empower hospitals to make a positive impact at their facilities.
- Enhance the learning experience by offering breakout sessions that educate attendees on the topic areas of their choice and with consideration of their level of ACS NSQIP experience.
Marcus Engel is our keynote speaker for the 2015 ACS NSQIP National Conference. Marcus is a professional speaker and best-selling author whose messages provide insight and strategies for excellent patient care. His keynote presentation, “The Other End of the Stethoscope,” has been used to teach the basic foundations of caregiving to health care professionals.

Call for Abstracts Is Closed
Thank you to all of the ACS NSQIP hospitals that submitted an abstract for consideration for the 2015 National Conference. The call for abstracts is now closed. Final decisions on abstract acceptance will be made in the spring. We will notify the primary authors of abstracts accepted with further guidelines for presentation and poster preparation around that time.
