Selected Readings in General Surgery (SRGS) is a literature review published eight times a year available in an annual subscription. It takes four years to get through the entire cycle of topics. Review our revolving cycle of topics to find out what is coming up next. Notes: Subscriptions cannot be backdated; however, back issues are available for sale. SRGS Audio is included as a complimentary benefit with all online subscription types.

We offer a variety of subscription options for individuals, institutions, and residents in print, Web, or both formats. Review the subscription types to find the best option for you.

Subscription Types

Individual

SRGS offers an accredited CME program available to practicing surgeons.

If you choose the print-only format and want to earn CME credit for the self-assessment test, you must purchase the Print with CME format. The CME program is included in the fee for the two standard online formats: Premium and Practicing Surgeon.

Quantity discounts are available to individuals in a group practice of two or more. Inquire about the discounts before placing your order at 800-631-0033.

Institutional

Institutional subscriptions are intended for single-site access at libraries, hospitals, or other health care-related institutions. A single username and password are issued, but simultaneous access is permitted. We do not provide institutional subscribers with IP address access.

CME credit is not available with institutional subscriptions.

Resident

In addition to the print without CME subscription, SRGS Resident subscriptions are available to individual residents and to residency programs. These subscriptions provide residents with an in-depth, topic-specific literature review from the clinical perspective of a senior general surgeon and also offers original content, including health care editorials and commentaries by general surgeons on recently published articles.
