American College Of Surgeons - Inspiring Quality: Highest Standards, Better Outcomes

Become an Active YFA Member

Christopher DuCoin, MDCheers to new beginnings and the first newsletter of 2021! As we start fresh at the beginning of the year, I encourage everyone to get involved, find your voice, make a difference, and become an active member of the Young Fellows Association (YFA) of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). This group is for any Fellow who is under the age of 45, and it’s a great place to become more involved with the College. There are so many ways to make a difference.

Here are just a few:

Run for a position as a liaison to an ACS committee and represent the YFA, or get active in your ACS State Chapter. Nominations for open positions will be announced in June of this year by the YFA Membership Workgroup.

If you want to become active, there is a place for you. Let’s make an impact in the College and in our communities and let our voices be heard as surgeon leaders this year.

We look forward to our team growing through inclusion, to our combined voices getting louder, and to making an impact that will make a difference. Here’s to a great 2021!
