Message from the Chair
Dear Young Fellows,
It is an honor for me to have the opportunity to serve as your chair this year. I consider it a huge privilege, and I don’t take this responsibility lightly.
In the past few years we have focused on increasing the influence of young Fellows in the American College of Surgeons (ACS). We have increased participation on committees and increased visibility locally and during Clinical Congress.
The Young Fellows Association (YFA) Council aims to hear your voice and increase opportunities for all young surgeons to get involved with activities of the College.
Our goal is to support the development of young surgeons in the areas of quality, education, and leadership.
I am looking forward to working together with many of you so we can continue our mission.
Paula Ferrada, MD, FACS
YFA Chair
