Associate Fellows: Volunteer with a Workgroup

We are looking for a group of Associate Fellows—ACS members that are no longer in training but have not yet attained Fellowship status—interested in volunteering to serve on a workgroup. The workgroup will define appropriate programs and resources for Associate Fellows, and will provide opportunities for networking, engagement, and collaboration. If you are interested, please contact RASNews@facs.org, and please put “Associate Fellows” in the subject line. We will hold our first meeting via conference call in early February. We look forward to being in touch soon!

Associate Fellows: Access the Surgeon Well-Being Index

Associate Fellows are invited to use the latest member benefit, the Surgeon Well-Being Index. Surgeon well-being is vital for patient and physician success. This validated tool is an opportunity to help you better understand your overall well-being, and identify areas of risk compared to physicians across the nation. We will also provide you with access to local and national resources. The tool is 100% anonymous—your information is private and your individual score will not be shared. In addition to the tool, the College has created a list of publications and resources that provide more information on surgeon well-being. We look forward to your feedback on the tool, and if you have any questions, please contact ms@facs.org.
