American College Of Surgeons - Inspiring Quality: Highest Standards, Better Outcomes

Season's Greetings

As we flip the final page on the 2019 calendar, we are reminded of this year's accomplishments and the people who sacrificed their time, talents, and treasures to make so many things happen this year. Read about the Resident and Associate Society of the American College of Surgeons (RAS-ACS) Year in Review. Thank you, RAS-ACS, for the wonderful memories you have made this year through the many hours of phone calls, e-mails, texts, tweets, and posts on behalf of the College.

Make sure to check out liaison updates from the various RAS-ACS Committees and ACS Committees, Workgroups, and Advisory Councils.

I look forward to continuing our good work in 2020 with all of you.

Happy holidays!

Chair, Associate Fellow Committee

When I’m not operating or looking for my next coffee, I enjoy being outside and exercise in almost any capacity. For the past nine years I have been a competitive road cyclist, in recovery from many years of running and triathlon. This year I have also discovered a love for many hours of hot Vinyasa yoga. I find that the community of people I have through these activities, along with church and family relationships, broadens my perspective of the world beyond the confines of the hospital.
