Your Voice at Work: Hundreds of ACS Members Contact Congress Asking for Their Support on Legislation Preventing Medicare Cuts

The ACS is pleased to report that more than 850 members have contacted Congress through SurgeonsVoice to encourage their representatives to cosponsor the Holding Providers Harmless From Medicare Cuts During COVID-19 Act of 2020 (H.R. 8702) to stop cuts to Medicare physician payment.

This legislation, recently introduced by Reps. Ami Bera, MD (D-CA) and Larry Bucshon, MD (R-IN), and supported by several other members of the U.S. House, demonstrates that Congress is listening to surgeons' voices. However, we still need your help to make clear that this critical advocacy priority requires immediate action. Visit SurgeonsVoice today to send a letter to your representative to urge them to cosponsor this important legislation.
