Academy of Master Surgeon EducatorsACS Academy of Master Surgeon Educators to Offer Virtual Grand Rounds Series—Inaugural Session July 14

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) Academy of Master Surgeon Educators has been developing several virtual educational programs to provide the national audience of practicing surgeons, surgery faculty, surgery residents, medical students, and members of surgical teams with important resources to address learning needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is the Academy’s vision that these virtual programs will continue to be offered beyond the pandemic and that topics will address both clinical and nonclinical domains. One such program will be the virtual Grand Rounds Series, developed by the Academy’s Subcommittee on Novel Teaching and Assessment Methods and Educational Resources, chaired by Mohsen Shabahang, MD, PhD, FACS.

The inaugural session of Grand Rounds Series of the Academy will take place 7:00−8:00 pm (CDT) July 14, 2020. The topic, Virtual Surgical Practice in the Post-COVID Era, will be addressed by ACS Regent Anthony Atala, MD, FACS; Brenessa M. Lindeman, MD, MEHP, FACS; and Jeffrey B. Matthews, MD, FACS, in an interactive fashion. The Grand Rounds will be available to all members of the surgical community and will be offered free of charge. Register now for the inaugural session.
