Biography

<p>My practice is located at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, Los Angeles, and is recognized for retina surgery and medical retina diagnosis and treatments, combining the latest advances in research and technology with the highest standard of patient care. My office offers consultations, second opinions, surgery and medical treatments for patients with retinal disease. </p> <p>Conditions I treat include retinal detachment, Macular Hole, age related macular degeneration, myopic degeneration, floaters, macular pucker (aka epiretinal membrane, epimacular membrane, celluphane maculopathy), complex posterior segment surgical problems, with or without anterior segment surgical problems surgical problems of the eye related to injury, prior surgery, and complications of prior surgery, and ocular lymphoma (CNS Lymphoma of the eye). </p> <p>Surgeries I perform include pars plana vitrectomy surgery (‘vitrectomy’), macular hole surgery, epeiretinal membrane peel, scleral buckle surgery, laser treatment retinal tears (retinopexy), laser treatment of proliferative diabetic retinopathy (pan-retinal photocoagulation), laser treatment of macular edema, intraocular injection of Avastin® & Lucentis® (aka ‘anti-Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor’ treatment), and Posurdex® treatment. </p>
