Biography

Nancy Swartz, MS, MD, FACS is the Director of the Facial Rejuvenation Program at the Myrna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. In addition, she is on the teaching staff of Wills Eye Hospital and serves on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Prior to beginning her career in medicine, she received her Master’s degree in Psychological Services and studied Counseling Psychology in the Ph.D. program at the University of Pennsylvania. She then received her MD at the Medical College of Pennsylvania where she was endorsed by the AOA Honor Medical Society. She completed a residency in ophthalmology at Scheie Eye Institute of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Swartz continued her training at Wills Eye Hospital, where she completed two fellowships, first in Neuro-Ophthalmology and then in Ophthalmic Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Swartz is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Swartz teaches cosmetic surgery to cosmetic surgeons across the country and throughout the world. She is married to her partner, Dr. Marc Cohen, and they have five wonderful children.
