Excelsior Surgical Society Call for Abstracts

Excelsior Surgical Society Meeting at ACS Clinical Congress
October 22, 2017
San Diego, CA

The third annual Excelsior Surgical Society meeting will serve as a scholarly forum and include a wide-variety of abstract presentations with the aim of showcasing the best surgical research being done in the U.S. military. All military surgeons—current, past, and future, active duty, reservist, or retired—are encouraged to submit their research to be presented at the Excelsior Surgical Society, a pre-meeting of American College of Surgeons (ACS) Clinical Congress in San Diego, CA.

Those chosen to present will share their research in the presence of the most senior military surgical leaders both past and present. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with surgical leaders and fellowship program directors in the civilian sector. The military’s Region 13 Trauma Paper Competition will be held during this meeting. Please join us in San Diego and help us enhance military medicine now and in the future. Trainees selected to present will be offered funded travel by the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS).
