The American College of Surgeons (ACS) has arranged for special per diem government-rated rooms, currently $149/night* plus tax rate specifically for our military and other attendees traveling on government per diem at the following official Clinical Congress hotels:
- Hard Rock Hotel San Diego
- San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter
- Omni San Diego
- Wyndham San Diego Bayside
Housing arrangements are being handled by onPeak, the official housing agency for the Clinical Congress.
Reservation requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis and must be received by the housing deadline date of Tuesday, September 26. Requests received after this deadline, or after the room blocks are filled, are subject to rate and space availability.
*Please note. The prevailing rate will officially go into effect as of October 1, 2017. You must show proper Government ID at check-in to receive this special rate.
How to Request Housing
ONLINE via onPeak ACS 2017 Housing. The online reservation service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! The above listed hotels are the only ones offering a Government Rate. You have the option to choose any of the hotels, but please note that the other hotels will not be offering a Government Rate.
CALL onPeak at 855-906-4456 (within U.S. only) or 312-527-7300 between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00 pm (CST), Monday through Friday. Please indicate that you need a Government Rate room.
If you do not receive acknowledgement of your reservation request within 72 hours, please contact onPeak via email at acs@onpeak.com or at the above indicated numbers. Please verify your acknowledgment for accuracy as it will be the only confirmation you will receive.
Guarantee of Arrival
All reservations will require a credit card (American Express, VISA, or MasterCard) for arrival guarantee purposes only. A deposit is not required and credit cards will not be charged at the time the reservation is made. Credit cards will only be charged directly by the hotel if your reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of arrival or in accordance with your hotel’s cancellation policy as noted on your confirmation.
Changes and Cancellations
Reservation changes and/or cancellations can be made with onPeak until October 10 at 4:00 pm (CST). Beginning October 11, contact the hotel directly with any changes and ask for a confirmation number if canceling your reservation. A cancellation penalty of one night’s room and tax will be charged for reservations cancelled within 72 hours of arrival date or in accordance with your hotel’s cancellation policy as noted on your reservation confirmation.
