Protect Your Chapters History: Archiving 101

This webinar introduces participants to the principles, policies, and practices of archiving.  It is designed to inform participants on the tools needed to begin extending the useful life of collections.

Our featured presenter, Adam Carey, MLSI, handles all archival material for the College, including framed artwork, donated fossil remains, paper materials, and photographs among other items. Adam also advises on the maintenance of any copies of ACS chapter documents that we have here on file in Chapter Services.

More about Adam Carey

Adam Carey is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Master’s Degree program in Library and Information Science, Archives/Archival Administration. He also holds a Master’s Degree in American History from Western Illinois University. In addition, Adam has an ABD from Creighton University in the area of Leadership. Previous to working as the ACS Archivist, Adam was the archivist at Purdue University.
