Advanced Trauma Life Support  (ATLS)

Our Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS®) program has been taught in more than 60 countries worldwide. At present, more than half of all ATLS activity is conducted outside of the United States and Canada. ATLS course training provides needed skills that can save lives in critical situations.

Trauma Evaluation and Management (TEAM)

Trauma Evaluation and Management (TEAM) introduces the concepts of trauma assessment and management to you, as a medical student, during your clinical years. The core content is adapted from the ACS Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course. Developed by the ATLS Committee of the ACS Committee on Trauma, TEAM is an expanded version of the ATLS "Initial Assessment and Management" lecture. The TEAM format is flexible, with a 90-minute slide presentation and optional components. The program includes a three-segment initial assessment video demonstration, a series of clinical trauma case scenarios for small-group discussion, and skills sessions. The slide/lecture presentation, included in the faculty DVD, can be easily adapted into a medical school's curriculum.  The TEAM program provides a standardized introductory course in the evaluation and management of trauma for medical students and multidisciplinary team members.
