ACS-AEI Online Curriculum Development Tool in Piloting Stage for Distribution in 2021

The ACS-AEI Curriculum Committee is also working on the Online Curriculum Development Tool (OCDT) Template. The goal of the OCDT is to help anyone create a curriculum, especially those users who do not have an educational background. This template will help authors work their way through all the requirements necessary to develop a strong curriculum. The template also helps ensure that any curriculum created will be able to demonstrate compliance with Criteria 2.1.2, which is a part of the requirements of the ACS-AEI program. This tool has been turned into a fillable PDF and is currently being piloted by several AEIs prior to wide distribution to all AEIs in 2021. The OCDT Template can be used by any faculty member who wants to utilize the simulation center to train any specialty group.
