ACS CRP Reports New Results from Geriatric Surgical Optimization Clinical Trial

At the 2023 American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Quality Care Symposium, Emily Finlayson, MD, MS, FACS, presented an abstract reporting adherence to the OPTI-Surg toolkit in the intervention arm of A231601CD, OPTI-Surg. Conducted in collaboration with the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology, the OPTI-Surg trial tested the effectiveness of a surgical prehabilitation toolkit for improving surgical care and outcomes for older patients undergoing major cancer surgery.
