Cancer Surgery Standards Program

Society of Thoracic Surgeons Webinar on Understanding and Implementing Commission on Cancer Standard 5.8 (Pulmonary Resection)

The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) is hosting a webinar at 6:00 pm CT on Thursday, April 28. This 1-hour event will focus on understanding and implementing Commission on Cancer Standard 5.8 on pulmonary resection. This webinar will be moderated by Linda Martin, MD, MPH, FACS, the STS representative to the CoC, and will include an interdisciplinary panel from major cancer centers that will help break down what the standard is, how it affects thoracic surgeons, and how programs can ensure compliance.
