The Conversations on Cancer panel discussion series, hosted by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration Oncology Center of Excellence, is observing Black History Month with a distinguished group of National Cancer Institute (NCI)-Designated Cancer Centers and clinical trial trailblazers advancing work in underserved communities. Register today for "Closing the Gaps: Building Trust in Clinical Trials for Our Communities," which will take place from 1:00 to 2:30 pm ET on Wednesday, February 9. Panelists will address the importance of Community Advisory Boards and the benefit of training non-oncology healthcare professionals and workers. The discussion will also address successful strategies in educating, recruiting, and following up with underserved cancer patient populations to inform the advancement of equity in clinical trial participation and associated oncology work.
