RAS-ACS Presents: Pathways to Fellowship

RAS-ACS Pathways to Fellowship Video Focuses on Acute Care Surgery

Evaluating surgical subspecialties is easier than ever thanks to the Resident and Associate Society (RAS)-ACS Pathways to Fellowship video series. Aimed at medical students and residents, this series highlights the personal perspectives of surgeons working in a subspecialty and explores how membership and engagement with the ACS has supported their career journey from Medical Student and Resident Member to ACS Fellow.

In this interview, acute care surgeons Cynthia Tally, MD, FACS, from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, and Robert Winfield, MD, FACS, from Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, note that their early mentors were  ACS Fellows and discuss opportunities in leadership, collaboration, and networking.
