Claim CME Credits and Credits to Fulfill State Regulatory Mandates through Clinical Congress 2021 by February 1

Less than a few weeks remains to claim CME Credits and state Credit to Address Regulatory Mandates through participation in recorded sessions from ACS Clinical Congress 2021. If you are not already registered, registration remains open! Credits may be claimed until February 1, 2022.

Clinical Congress 2021 was designated for a maximum of 297 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Also, Resident Members and allied health professionals may seek certificates of completion that will include a transcript of sessions and corresponding hours completed.

The CME Credits that may be earned through participation in the Clinical Congress Program address a range of regulatory mandates, including state requirements for licensure. The sessions of Clinical Congress 2021 that may meet specific state CME requirements have been designated as offering "Credit to Address Regulatory Mandates."

Credit Summary

  • Cultural Competency: 8 CME Credits for unticketed sessions, 5 CME Credits for ticketed sessions
  • Domestic Violence: 1 CME Credits for unticketed sessions
  • Ethics: 7 CME Credits for unticketed sessions, 5 CME Credits for ticketed sessions
  • Opioid/Pain Management: 1 CME Credits for unticketed sessions, 5 CME Credits for ticketed sessions
  • Palliative Care: 1 CME Credits for unticketed sessions
  • Patient Safety: 6 CME Credits for unticketed sessions
  • Risk Management: 1 CME Credits for unticketed sessions

The CME Credits to Address Regulatory Mandates claimed through participation in the appropriate sessions will appear on each attendee's transcript. Please verify that this content meets your state's specific requirements. A summary of state licensing boards' CME requirements for your convenience.

Additionally, Clinical Congress 2021 sessions offer CME Credits to Address ACS Accreditation/Verification requirements in the following domains: Bariatric, Breast, Cancer, Geriatric Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, and Trauma. Note that individuals may meet these requirements with relevant AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ awarded by any institution, and it is the responsibility of the individual to verify that the content meets the specific requirement.
