Register today for the ACS Leadership & Advocacy Summit, April 15–18 at the Grand Hyatt Washington, DC.
The Summit offers comprehensive and specialized sessions providing ACS members, leaders, and advocates with topics focused on effective surgeon leadership, as well as interactive advocacy training with coordinated visits to Congressional offices.
Saturday evening, April 15–Sunday, April 16
The Leadership Summit will offer compelling speakers addressing key topics in surgical leadership, including the importance of defining your personal mission statement, the role of leadership in times of change, domestic and international ACS chapter success stories, and more.
The Leadership Summit is open to ACS members and non-members in the US and internationally. Both in-person and virtual attendance options are available. The Leadership Summit will be livestreamed, and the sessions also will be recorded for future viewing opportunities by both in-person and virtual registrants.
Sunday evening, April 16–Tuesday, April 18
The Advocacy Summit provides US members with an update on ACS policy priorities, as well as an opportunity to participate in visits with decision-makers on Capitol Hill. Session topics include the value of a surgeon, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and quality updates, and collaborative opportunities and challenges, along with a keynote address by Axios and Politico co-founders Jim VandeHei and Mike Allen. The Advocacy Summit is not open to international members.
The Advocacy Summit will be an in-person event with some recorded sessions. There will be no virtual option. Congressional meetings also will be in person this year.
