TQIP Annual Conference

Deadline is June 30 to Submit Abstracts for TQIP Annual Conference

June 21, 2022

Submit your abstracts today for inclusion at the 2022 Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) Annual Conference, December 11–13 in Phoenix, AZ. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 pm CT Thursday, June 30, and quickly approaching. Send your submissions today!

This is your opportunity to share with other TQIP-participating centers all the interesting initiatives you have set in motion at your hospital. What internal performance improvement efforts have you embarked on, and how have you been using TQIP in your center? We strongly encourage registry staff to present any data-based quality initiatives that have had an impact on patient care in your trauma centers.

Abstracts may be submitted on any QI topic, but we are specifically calling for abstracts on:

  • Change Management
  • Geriatrics
  • Hemorrhage Control
  • Injury Prevention
  • Orthopaedic Trauma Care
  • Pediatrics
  • Performance Improvement
  • Registry and Data Validation
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Trauma Systems/Collaboratives
  • Triage, Transfer, and Rural Trauma Centers
  • Trauma Verification
  • Trauma Survivorship
  • Leadership Promoting Wellness: Taking Care of Your Team to Take Better Care of Patients

Leadership Promoting Wellness: Taking Care of Your Team to Take Better Care of Patients is the theme of this year’s conference. Beyond all of the other high-quality work being done at your center, we encourage you to share how you have used various tools and techniques to promote wellness within your team and thereby improve patient care.

All abstracts will be reviewed and considered for poster presentation. Some abstract submissions may be selected for development as TQIP case studies or oral presentation during the conference.

Visit the TQIP Conference web page to learn more, including housing information. Registration will open in September. Keep an eye on ACS communications, including the ACS Brief, for the announcement.
